Incense Pure Herbs Sandalwood Rope & Spice

These Nepali pure herb incense strings are made from herbs. Found in the high Himalayas. It is used in stupas, temples and drawing rooms for aromatic atmosphere.

Incense strings are made by hand in a process that involves grouping the ingredients together on a special hand-prepared rice paper, then rolling and twisting it into a small braided rope-like shape. The rope should be burned in a marble or metal dish, or in a bed of ash, a special incense burner. This type of rope incense can produce a substantial amount of smoke, and it can quickly overpower a small room, so use it sparingly.

The Cedar, Spikenard and Sandalwood & Spice incense strings one pack contains 50 incense strings, each 11 cm. Burning time for a rope is approximately 15min.
